How can you get involved?

By getting involved in a social movement. A social movement can get enough individuals and power to make people and governments think and to stop fighting, to create a peaceful world.

The obvious answer is that people get involved through elections, through making decisions on the local level about their own development.

As global citizens, we stand against the greatest injustice of our time: extreme poverty. Because we know that a world that deprives 1.3 billion people of their basic rights and opportunities is unjust, and unacceptable.
4. Heading:
Learn more about poverty, tell your friends – spread the word about global problems. Show your actions through a video, presentation, commitment. Share your opinions with people from other countries and continents.
5. Heading:
A world with fairtrade is a world where justice and sustainable development are most important. Fairtrade standards let local farmers win on global markets.

Think critically. Don’t settle only on one source of information. Find out more to make your own opinion.
